Enterprise Elementary School, Successful School, proudly serves 415 students in grades pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. This year a kindergarten class was added to accommodate 90 new kindergarten students, compared to last year’s class of 72 students. A fourth grade class was also added due to higher numbers in that grade as well. The teachers at Enterprise Elementary work individually, in grade levels, and as a school-wide team in planning lessons using teaching strategies and assessments that address the Mississippi Department of Education curriculum frameworks. These higher order thinking activities and assessments are being used on a daily basis. EES prides itself on providing a well-rounded education for the children of this district. Besides academics, our students attend music lessons, nutrition classes, and physical education classes on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly rotation. The students also have available to them a school counselor and school librarian. This year EES is extremely proud of a newly added reading computer lab which provides both remediation and enrichment programs for our students. EES is very proud of its accomplishments and growth.
