Enterprise School District strives to provide our students with a safe environment.

Enterprise School District strives to provide our students with a safe environment.  However, in this day and age, we can never be too cautious and ensure that measures are taken to provide that safe environment.  We do train our staff on emergency procedures and we rely on our parents to help us enforce our own policies and procedures.

The Sandy Hook school shooting was a tragedy and we were all very saddened by such a horrible act against children.  It was also a stark reminder of the importance of safety procedures and check-in and visitor policies.  It is imperative that parents adhere to the front office procedures when arriving on campus.

When you enter a school, check in to the front office immediately upon arrival, secure a visitor tag and let the office know when you leave.  These procedures are necessary for the safety of your children.

Enterprise School District is in the process of revising our School Crisis Plan and providing training to all staff on proper procedures.  We are conducting vulnerability assessments to determine areas of weakness at each campus and making safety improvements as necessary.  We also have a strong relationship with the Enterprise Police Department and Clarke County Sheriff's Department.  We are also pursuing the possibility of a REMS (Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools) grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

Our children are our most precious resource and we must all work together to keep them safe.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your school principal or the superintendent.
